So, I'm glad you're here..
Outside of work I am a committed and hands on husband and father.
I'm an outdoor enthusiast and have recently completed the Base Camp Everest trek for my 40th birthday. A special moment for me, and made even more special with my dad (72) and father-in-law (66) by my side.
Hiking is a huge passion of mine and I am privileged to share it with my dad, prior to moving to KSA, we would often find ourselves at the weekends half way up a mountain in the Lakes or even in the Cairngorms. However, without a doubt my favourite hobby is watching my daughters play football, they both show such a passion for the game and I love watching them play and develop.
What else about me, I am medically diagnosed with OCD and Perfectionism, however I'll talk more about that in a future blog.
So, why am I writing this blog, and why did I create this website. It's simple really, I wanted to show those who have a deep desire to do something similar, however allow the unknown and fear of failure to win, that it can be done. My blog will include my own personal experiences and how I have overcome the bumps in the road.
Finally, and another passion of mine is helping people, it's taken a while for me to realise that this is a core value to me. Through The Expat Mindset I also offer coaching to people who may be lost or struggling to reach their goals, or even where their goals remain undefined or unknown to them.
I hope you like The Expat Mindset and I hope you find the content useful.
